Three kinds of battle NPC live in PokéSurvival. All of them are click-to-battle, all run on a per-trainer cooldown that starts when you engage (a loss still spends it), and all are gated on your badges so you are never offered a fight your Pokémon are not allowed to win.

Static trainers

Fixed NPCs placed around the world, in six tiers. The tier label and colour on the nameplate tell you what you are walking into.

TierTeam levelsRequiresCooldown (weekend / normal)Pokémon fielded
Beginner6–11—7m30s / 15m2
Easy15–26Badge 115m / 30m3
Medium33–44Badge 322m30s / 45m4
Hard47–59Badge 41h / 2h4
Veteran66–74Badge 63h / 6h5
Expert75–90Badge 75h / 10h6

Each tier’s ceiling sits just under the obedience cap its badge grants (see Gyms). Rewards scale with tier: coins always, tokens with a chance at the lower tiers and a better chance plus Battle Points at Veteran and Expert. Weekend events halve the cooldown.

Roaming trainers

Nine trainers who take turns appearing in the world — roughly one present for about 25 minutes out of each hour. Their team levels scale to your trainer level, in bands that track the badge caps:

15+23–32
19+33–42
27+47–60
35+67–80

Flat 25-minute cooldown per trainer.

Iconic trainers

Once you hold all eight badges, the Iconic rotation opens: 45 well-known trainers from across the regions, each fielding a level 100 team of six drawn from a larger roster. One is present at a time, appearing every 90 minutes to 2½ hours. Rewards are currency-only — coins, tokens and Battle Points — with a jackpot roll, doubled during double-reward weekends.
